Ella’s senior photography session was extra special. I have known Ella since she was six years old, and it was such a joy to capture these beautiful senior pics with her!
Ella’s hair and makeup looked incredible, thanks to Bia’s professional makeup services.
We began in the historical Georgetown Square. Ella had a few posing requests, and I used her inspiration photos as a guide for the urban looks of her senior photo session (check out another urban photo shoot here!).
Next, we visited Southwestern University in Georgetown. I took senior pictures of Ella with her letterman jacket. The architecture is stunning and provides a simple background for senior photos. Her letterman jacket added a nice personal touch to her senior photoshoot.

Our last stop at Old Settlers Park was in a beautiful bluebonnet field. Wildflower field senior photos during sunset are only available for a few weeks each year in central Texas. As a professional photographer with 20 years of full-time experience, I understand there are many photographers out there. Senior year is an important milestone, and these memories are fleeting. My advice is to choose a photographer who specializes in senior photos. Here are a few tips on what to look for when searching for a senior grad photographer:

Does the photographer have a website page dedicated to senior portraits? If yes, you’re in the right place! If not, keep looking for someone with more experience with senior pics.
Consistent image quality in various locations.
Look for high-quality, consistent images across all locations. Senior field photos and downtown urban photos will look different due to the environment; however, they should still represent the photographer’s style. When creating products such as albums and wall art collages, the images should work together to create a sense of flow.
